The Bright Edge was my first book with a “spine” — a guide to the national parks of the Colorado Plateau published long, long ago, in 1979. No words better capture the exhilaration of wild country than Willa Cather’s.
We live on the bright edge of history, too — always. And so this journal will range far out from my spiritual home in southern Utah’s slickrock country, wherever my musings take us.
