I’m looking forward to this workshop in an extraordinarily beautiful place. Please join me! I’ll bring along my bag of tricks from teaching writing at the University of Utah Honors College–along with my camera and my own experiences from forty years as a published writer and photographer.
The Bright Edge was my first book with a “spine” — a guide to the national parks of the Colorado Plateau published long, long ago, in 1979. No words better capture the exhilaration of wild country than Willa Cather’s.
We live on the bright edge of history, too — always. And so this journal will range far out from my spiritual home in southern Utah’s slickrock country, wherever my musings take us.
